The Robert J Dole VA office is offering a 6-week self defense course starting on August 15th, registration is required. All session will be held in building 5A room 101-5A from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm. These session will be held every Thursday from August 15th-September 19th.

The Park as it is now comprised was formed by an action taken by the City Council on 21 July 2009.  On that date the Veterans Memorial Park of Wichita Inc. was given the responsibility of Managing the Park in accordance with the Long Range Plan agreed to by the Board of VMPWI and the City.  This agreement is still in effect to this day.  Ownership remains with the City and as such, permits are required for all events.  Persons and/or organizations wishing to build monuments in the Park must contact the VMPWI Board for information and permission to break ground. 

Senior Wednesdays are informational and entertaining sessions, designed for active seniors and offered by a collaboration of local institutions. Each Wednesday two Wichita businesses offer events for seniors to stay connected with their community while doing activities and learning about things they love.

The Veterans Business League of Wichita is a place where you can connect, learn, and offer support to other veterans and their spouses who want to grow their businesses.
